"It was essential that we didn't sacrifice comfort for visual appeal," explains Tony Giroux at Westplan Building Design. "We aimed for expansive openings to capture the views and optimize natural light, while also ensuring the comfort and security of our homeowners."

The fourplex incorporates state-of-the-art sound attenuation methods, along with Innotech products featuring enhanced clear laminated glass with an STC rating of 39. Equipped with multi-point locking systems, steel-reinforced frames, welded corners, and laminated glass, the residences also provide a secure environment against potential break-ins.

Thermal performance was another significant factor. Penticton experiences both high summer temperatures and cold winter conditions. Given the building's proximity to Okanagan Lake, it is also subject to strong winds.
