Nestled on the shores of Okanagan Lake in Penticton, BC, 402 Lakeshore Drive presents a collection of four upscale condominium residences. This two-story structure encompasses a total of 7,268 square feet, with each floor accommodating two units ranging from 1,391 to 2,100 square feet. Each of the four condos showcases superior construction quality, open-concept layouts, and premium finishes.

With a location directly opposite public beaches, acoustic performance and security were key considerations in the design. "It was essential that we didn't sacrifice comfort for visual appeal," explains Tony Giroux at Westplan Building Design. "We aimed for expansive openings to capture the views and optimize natural light, while also ensuring the comfort and security of our homeowners."

The fourplex incorporates state-of-the-art sound attenuation methods, along with Innotech products featuring enhanced clear laminated glass with an STC rating of 39. Equipped with multi-point locking systems, steel-reinforced frames, welded corners, and laminated glass, the residences also provide a secure environment against potential break-ins.

Thermal performance was another significant factor. Penticton experiences both high summer temperatures and cold winter conditions. Given the building's proximity to Okanagan Lake, it is also subject to strong winds. The floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, complete with triple weatherseals, not only meet Energy Star Zone C standards but also effectively manage unwanted solar heat gain, ensuring year-round comfort for residents.
