About This Project

Z.J. Williams School, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, is situated in the isolated Alaskan village of Napaskiak. The newly constructed facility represents not only an educational space for students, but also a source of optimism for the overall strengthening of the community.

In collaboration with our regional distributor Capitol Glass Northerm Windows, we provided tilt and turn windows in addition to fixed windows for this project. The triple-glazed and triple-seal windows deliver the essential thermal and energy efficiency required for Alaska's harsh, cold climate.

The school's official opening was celebrated during the final week of October 2016. Community leaders, residents, and members of the press were present throughout the day-long celebration. This significant event marked the start of a new era for Napaskiak, where students can learn and prosper in a secure and pleasant setting, the community benefits from a central meeting place, and the future holds the promise of a robust, unified community.
