About This Project

Site 17, a mixed-use complex comprised of two buildings in Seattle, Washington, experienced substantial construction flaws shortly after its completion less than ten years ago.

As a result, the two buildings underwent a comprehensive building envelope rehabilitation managed by Charter Construction. This included a complete removal and replacement of the siding, along with the installation of new windows, doors, roofs, and decks.

Soltner Group Architects and Charter Construction chose Innotech for this retrofit project due to our proven expertise, dependable service, and high-performance products. Adhering to a precise delivery schedule, Innotech provided Tilt + Turn Windows and Tilt + Glide Doors for all 522 window and door openings in the North and South Towers.

Careful product selection is essential for any construction endeavor. Regrettably, many projects prioritize initial cost savings over assessing long-term expenses. Opting for the appropriate products and partnering with a manufacturer possessing the necessary operational experience to fulfill contracts efficiently and effectively might involve a larger initial investment, but it can ultimately prevent costly repairs totaling millions of dollars.
